MISSION STATEMENT:

To provide for the peace and security of all residents and visitors to Accomack County in a diligent and cordial manner.

SERVICES PROVIDED: 

The Accomack County Sheriff's Office:

• Enforces local, state and federal laws as set forth by code.
• Assists community leaders by providing personnel to attend local meetings for the purpose of disseminating crime prevention tips, as well as for building rapport and trust within the community.
• Provides School Resource Officers for local high schools in an attempt to decrease the opportunity for crime to occur, as well as to build rapport and trust with the students.
