Building & Facilities Technician

The County of Accomack is seeking applications for the full-time position of Building & Facilities Technician in the Public Works Department. The position is responsible for performing the general upkeep of the County’s facilities to include building and grounds maintenance, custodial, and litter control functions. Applicants must be able to work weekends and holidays. Attendants may be assigned to any location within the County. 

Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED is preferred; a valid driver’s license. 

Position requires a valid Virginia Driver’s License along with the satisfactory completion of a background check and drug screening prior to employment. A job description can be found here. Review of applications will begin on Thursday, December 4, 2025.
