The Accomack County Board of Supervisors will conduct a special meeting and hold a public hearings beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021, to solicit input concerning the following matters:
The Accomack County Board of Supervisors will be accepting public comments regarding proposed modifications to local election districts and voting precincts. These modifications are proposed in accordance with the 2020 Census Data and the Code of Virginia, including proportional population in the election districts and voting precincts; contiguous and compact election districts and voting precincts; exclusion of non-local inmates at correctional facilities from population counts, and alignment of election district boundaries with Census data blocks.

The proposed changes to the election districts and voting precincts are available for viewing on the County website at: and at the County Administrator’s Office. While the public hearing will be open for public attendance and comment, citizens also have the right to submit oral or written statements on the proposed matter to the County Administrator’s Office (P.O. Box 388 – Accomac, VA 23301 or administration@co.accomack.va.us ) no later than 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021. Any citizen having questions or needing special assistance for the disabled may contact the County Administrator's Office by calling 787-5700 or 824-5444.
